I just put my frye into a 10 gal tank with the appropriate sponge filter put the current is too stong, any suggestions? The little guys are trying to swim away from the glass and can't(they were doing in fine in the large tank)

well the constant swimming will promote muscle growth for the fry but if they are getting thrown around the tank you can try to get more sponge and weaken the current

You can also try this method. Use an airline splitting valve and manually adjust the airflow to the spong filter. As less air is pumped to the filter the current will decrease.

I don't understand what you mean by "get more sponge"

A bigger sponge attachment would also ease the current though it would also constrict the available space. Cutting down the airflow would be more effective IMO

Thank you everyone, I think I got it..

FDStation152 thanks, I found a Lok-Tite Gang valve in my odds and ends and I think its just what the doctor ordered.

It works wonders :) I have that type of valve on almost all of my air tubing.
