Preparing my plasitic aquarium boats misc items to

What should I do to my aquarium boats that I bought from a aquarium store. Should I soak it in something first?

I always rinse them first. I think you will be ok if you just rinse them.

I swear that fun aquarium toys (including gravel) have clouded my water before but, yea give them good scrub with some warm water... That's what I do :

a Scrub with water will be fine - you needent boil them.

I have never found ornaments that cluoded my water, but you have to wash gravel really well, otherwise it makes a terrible mess!
