I am curious: are there any metal valves that would be safe to use in a filter outflow?
I have plastic, I don't have any plans to change to metal, but it got me wondering: most of us have the usual copper pipes for our water supply, various weld metals.

Would brass be ok?

I think I am best off with the plastic.

Also, regular garden hoses are safe, right?
I have been using an RV class hose for a long time, not regular hose, was wondering if I could use the cheaper regular garden hose.

thanks.
