Melafix Question

Can I use Melafix regardless of what is in my tank?

I am concerned about:
Snail
shrimp
2 corys
Mr. Pleco

The others: Danios, a Betta, & Golden White Clouds, will be fine.

I'm not quite sure what happened, but one of my corys pectoral fins is damaged. It looks like it's been ripped, either by a decoration or possibly my "sweet" Betta girl...

Pardon the pun, but I'm hooked!

Melafix is a natural tonic so it won't harm any of your pets. Just follow instructions carefully.:)

I have used it in well planted tanks and on all types of fish. Plecos, cories, bettas and all others and also had snails in there that were never hurt by it.

I have never seen anything or heard of any reason not to use it in regards to critters, fish or plants.

Thanks! I've used it before on my Serpae Tetras and my betta, both fine. I was more worried about the scaleless corys and the invertebrates. I didn't think it would be a problem, but you never know and I like to hear about other experiences first!

I notice my tetras & hatchets get a bit scared when I use melafix, but after a couple of hours, everyone is back into the normal swing. I've got plants & shrimp in the tank as well as cories, otos, and farlowella cats and have never noticed anything out of the schooling until they got used to the water change.
