as of right now, i have the standard bulbs that came in my tanks [freshwater] over a year ago. i'm about to purchase new bulbs, and i was wondering what kind is suggested ? i have a 55 gallon with 3 parrots and a black knife, and a 29 gallon with 2 peacocks. i recently discovered that they don't like 50/50's, and i was considering coralife 10000k.
thoughts/suggestions/concerns?
thanks, amber

The 50/50 should only be used if youhave enough wattage for the plants you want to grow. If it is not a wattage isue then it is a choice of wehat color you want on your tank more than anything. The 10,000 will be bright and very blue I think, don't remember for sure.
