Ketapang leaves

Not quite sure where to post this question...Does anyone use Ketapang leaves in their general community tank? I have platies, neon tetras and panda corys and am wondering if the leaves are safe for use.

I sometimes used them.:) They release tannic acids thus lowering the pH. Only your tetras and cories will benefit from that. Your platies will have to be rehomed to another tank if you plan to use almond leaves. Platies do not thrive in low pH ranges.
