So i got today: 30lb bag of Carib Sea Aragonite sand AND 25 lbs of pea gravel (looks like natural rocks)

Do i put the sand on the bottom then the gravel or the other way around?

Thanks for your help.

Mixed substrates are difficult to keep separate. The smaller substrate will most likely end up on the bottom, in your case the sand. Plants cannot be planted to deeply in the substrate therefore not benefiting from the sand. I would do strictly sand or gravel. Not both.
