Help me with a unlevelled tank

20 Gallon Tank on top of a heavy dresser. Left top front corner is off by 1mm maybe 2mm the bubble is out side the left line everything else is between the lines. Can I leave it like that? Also can someone tell me what's the most a tank my size can be off by? I already put things under the dresser and that's the best result I'm getting.

Hello and welcome. I can't say if it will be safe or not. I always level my tank. Go to a store like HD or Lowes or equivalent and buy some wooden shims.

We have a 55 gallon that is 3/4" away from level.
We found out after the tank was set up, and haven't taken it down.
There have been no problems.

Cannot remember what the actual safe figure is. It's 2mm over a certain distance but cannot remember what that distance is! To be honest if you are on the line as you are, and far more central than not, you shouldn't have a problem with that.

Be careful with that as being off level puts additional stresses on the glass and that is quite a distance to be out. Any problems because of this are not always immediately apparent but can actually occur months down the line when the glass may suddenly crack. Sorry, don't mean to be raining on your parade or anything but think it is something you should be aware of. To be honest you shouldn't have a problem but at least you are aware.
