I agree with fish_4_all ,the heater is faulty IMHO. As I previously stated ,it should switch off when it reaches the set temp and the fact it does not, tells me its faulty.

thanks for all the info and the link. i will take it back on
my next visit. then perhaps buy the one online as thats my best bet i think. the heater has no temps on it so it doesnt tell me how how the thermo actually is. so i think ill change it. thanks again guys!!!
