Heater and Filter

I recently purchased a Filter and a heater for my 10 gallon.
The filter reads 250 litres p/h
and the heater reads 55W

Does this sound right for a 10 gallon? It didnt say the reccomended tank sizes on either of the boxes...

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

That sounds quite good. 250 LPH = 66 GPH, which is pretty good. You want your tank water to pass through the filter at least 4 times per hour. The standard for heating is 5 watts per gallon, so again, you're right on, although it really depends on the temp in your house, if you have a lid, how much heat your light produces, etc.

So i can only know the overall temperature when I actually set it up with water, heater, and lights? If so cool, I should be getting the light in 2 days or so, along with my plants, and start cycling it then.
Will keep you guys updated (on different subforums lol)
