I am changing water on Saturday and i plan on doing this, then as well. Good Luck.
I purchased a second spray bar when I purchased my 2215, and doubled the number of holes in both bars. I used a full size drill and added new holes in-between the existing. If you use a full-size drill, be a little careful not to accidentally drill through both sides (unless you want more holes!). I connected the two spray bars together with a small piece of very inexpensive tubing from a big-box home improvement store. Voila! A long, very low pressure spray bar. It does go 1/2 way across the back of my 55 gallon tank however...
Next planned purchase is some type of 90 degree elbow so I can move the filter inflow from the side to the back of my tank and out of the way of my canopy.
