A fish heater

I am looking to buy and inexpensive heater for my betta. My betta lives in a one gallon bowl, and my house generally isn't very warm. I was looking to buy a "Biorb and Biube Tropical Heater" is that a good heater? Any advise about any thing?
Thx

I've never used or seen that heater but a 25W heater is the smallest wattage heater I have seen so far and this will do up to 5g.

Just be careful when buying them. Some of the less expensive ones I have seen haven't had specific temperature settings, they just have and increase and decrease so it's very difficult to get it to a good level temperature. With it being such a small space, this problem would be magnified as the water would heat up and cool down much quicker. For a few extra s or extra $5 or something, go for one that has specific temperature settings so you have more peace of mind.

Since you are spending more money on your betta and trying to give him a better life (:)) have you thoguht about upgrading the tank to a 5g or 10g? I live in the UK and a 10g can be bought for less than 10 in most places, and in America I hear about this 10g for $12 all the time from Wallmart (I think).

The heater for this would probably need to be 50W, but I've found that there's usually only about 1 price difference for this extra wattage. :)

My Heater

HI,
i used a Hydor 7 watts heater from petco for my betta. It's $11 and i loved it. it's flat and is up to 3 gallons. you can bury it under the gravel since it's flat and is one of the recommended positions. here's a pic
