Filter Change

So what is the consensus with changing filters, Replace the filter pad or just rinse it off? What say you?

I change one pad at a time. One week I'll rinse it, the next week I'll rinse the other one, the next week I'll change the first one, the next week I'll change the second one, then I'll rinse the first one etc.

Although admittedly sometimes I get confused and do something different, but that's the idea anyway...

absloutely no reason to change the pad (unless its falling apart or carbon) other than to make the company more money imo

Agreed. I haven't changed mine in over a year. What I do is rinse occasionally in dirty tank water.
