filter change

I want a new filter, as I have a Whisper 4 that is ancient. How do I transfer filters? My tank is starting to cycle and I want to get a new filter Asap.

If it's starting to cycle and you don't have fish in there(can't remember if you do or not), then just go ahead and get the new one. Otherwise you'll have to run both later although it should be encouraged to have two different filtration methods..

This is the song that never ends...
