When I got the filter for my 46G tank I just went with the one that said "it was good up to 50G", I know better now.........
it says 200 gallons per hour, will that be sufficient? I plan on eventually getting a larger one down the road, but should I add my old 20G filter to the new tank for now or will it be okay?

Thanks........
Robb

You can add the old filter. I run 2000 gph on my 75g.

Will it be okay with the one for a couple of months, i would rather not cut another opening in the back of my hood if I dont have too..........
would 400gph be enough?

the one filter for now or the 400gph?

It actually wont be as expensive as I thought, so I will probrably be upgrading the filter sooner than I thought........I could always ask Santa (wifey)...... :D

Never tried it. I'd leave that question to others who did.
