Eheim 2252

hi guys.
i have tried(not majorly hard i admit)to find out how to slow the flo on
this internal filter, have any of you had one,or know someone with one ?
i tried not long ago to ask someone on another forum, however they completly
ignored me(didn't bother going back there lol )
the only option i seem to come to is that i have to attach a long lengh of pipe to
the outpipe, run it along the edge of the aquarium, and put holes into it,basically
making it into a 4ft spray bar
any one have any better ideas.

if i understand correctly you need to slow your outflow right? try fitting a small length of pvc or plastic hose on the outfglow throw in a ball valve then get another piece of tubing and put it where you like? its not good to restrict flow of ur pumps or filters as it drastically shortens their lifespan.

whats the reason for wanting to slow it down? maybe if you aim the output towards one of the sides it would disperse it, or get a output pipe that you can attach that splits from one single output to dual output and you can aim each, which would make it not as strong.

the flow is very fast, and tends to speed things around the tank, not the look i want lol.
you've given me some great ideas, and i thank you greatly for them.
cheers.
