DRY- ZYME, eco aqualizer x75

My used aquarium came with DRY-ZYME it is a white powder why would any one use this stuff…. The tank also came with api test solutions for ammonia and ph is this stuff still good there is no expiration date, one more odd thing came with the aquarium some thing called eco aqualizer x75 this seems to be an expensive tube what is it supposed to do?? The tank also came with several submersible blue led lights. Does anybody have a idea why the former tank owner would use these things??

if so it is a UV sterilizer you pump water through the tube and there is a UV light inside it

That looks like what I have but there is no uv light that I can find nor any way to supply power to it. I thought it was something to do with magnetic fields silly me. pop

ok i done some more research and i jumped to the wrong conclusion there

it seems it is more of a added filter i think or to some description
