My local Petco is having a Dollar per Gallon sale on Tanks. Not the fancy bowfronts or curvy corners, just standard modular tanks.
That being said, I've been seriously considering downsizing or more literally upsizing my tank. I have a few tall options.
They have 40 gallon breeders, 29 and 20 talls, 20 longs, the usual 55 longs, and a couple 37 talls.
Space is at a premium but if I go for any of their tanks I'd like to get the most bang for my buck. The 40's are the most expensive of their stock. And it's more reasonable in terms of length than my 55.
What other considerations do I need to think about?
My filter, heater, fish will all fit, no problem. My lights are 48" but I may be able to trade with someone else for the right size plus something, on CL. Hopefully I'll be able to get a like brand and quality T5 HO like what I have.
I can then sell my 55, it's stand, and any remaining supplies for (????$$$???).
Suggestions? Ideas?
