Denitrator????

Has anybody got some info on denitrators or have ever had one, I ask this because where I live 'melbourne australia' we are currently in a severe drought, we are on water restrictions so I cant just waste water. Can you go months with water changes if a denitrator is used?

wondering is the beauty of mystery
Check out my 29g grow out (quite a mixed bunch)

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

nitrates isnt the only thing to worry about. its also TDS (total dissolved solids) is something you have to worry about more. nitrates are easy to remove with some plants.
