Might of got a bit pump envy off the second pump I put in the tank

Make sure the filter knows you appreciate more than just it's pump.

90 - Congo tetras, african knife, upside down cats, spotted ctenopoma, kribensis, delhezzi bichir
2.5 - betta

And now it's stopped again. I'll be able to clean it thoroughly tomorrow.

Filter stripped right back and cleaned

Bench test without filter media
10 litres per minute.

Bench test with filter media
10 litres per minute

Checked intake pipe, inlet port covered in algae. ?possibly to close to substrate, inch cut off pipe. Pipe full of algae, replacing pipe.

Pipes replaced and shortened inlet pipe in tank so as not to be as close to substrate.

Here's my invaluable piece of equipment for cleaning filter and parts.

It's a small bottle brush for cleaning teats on baby bottles.

Since you stripped and cleaned the filter... remember to watch for a mini cycle. keep your test kit and bucket near by. Glad the filter is working again. Did you say this tank is running 2? so you might be ok?
