Question Brighter light / bulbs?

I have a new 37g tall with live plants, black rock, and dark driftwood. The lightbulb that came with the setup is a 23" flourescent Marineland F18T8 Natural Daylight. But, the tank looks "dark" compared to my sons 20g long. Any recommendations on brighter bulbs?

hi there. i am not yet upto speed with what size tanks are by Gallons. but The Light i have for mine is a 3.5foot Tropical light (after having a 2 foot natural light) and is set to the back of the tank. it brightens it up great.
My Advice would be go with Tropical Light Rather than natural and go for one that is slightly smaller than your own tank by about half a foot.
Hope this helped :)

Thank you fizzyface! Since my post, I actually switched to a Coralife 30"/36 watt w/ 2 T-5 bulbs. It has brightened up the aquarium quite a bit. I may actually add another.
