True. I've seen a lot of people around forums claiming about this happily.;)

I can ditto
as I have had good luck with them also.

I can also ditto, with one proviso,
I will never, absolutely never again purchase a supply which is branded as "Big Al's".
Big Al's is less expensive than Foster & Smith on many items,
is less expensive that Marine Depot on some items.

I still highly recommend MarineDepot as (and I did not explain this very well in my first post)
1) they are typically less expensive than Foster&Smith and Big Al's;
2) their phone help has access to their electronic inventory list as well as their web site;
3) if a question arises concerning a specific product, their phone help can "walk back to their warehouse", open a box and then talk intelligently on the phone concerning the product and
4) I have never had a problem in dealing with them.

As far as actual products, petco and petsmart are often times the most convenient since they are everywhere. The all do price matching as well if you can bring in a printed ad with the price of a product. This includes their own online price. For instance, I wanted to buy a filter that was listed at $140 in the store at petsmart. I went online to and the filter was being sold for $80. SO I printed out the ad, brought it into the store and they adjusted the price to $80 (savings of $60!). The same is true for many of the decor, heaters, acrylic kits, etc. Unfortunaletly if you want a glass fish tank it is harder to find on those websites because they don't ship glass tanks, only acrylic. The in-store prices on tanks aren't bad and the glass is warranteed for life though.
