Automatic Fish Feeders

Hi.

Does anyone here have any experience with auto fish feeders? I purchased one several days ago, and it seems easy enough to use but . . . there's no settings to regulate the time my fish are fed! I'd prefer for them to be fed in the morning, and then in the evening an hour or two before lights out.

I put the battery in, and I can hear the internal clock ticking, but WHEN does it feed my fish? There are no settings, no pre-sets, nothing. Just a large food drum with a slot where the food comes out of, and the stand for it. That's all.
It's called the 'Daily Double II' by Penn Plax. I need to get this working as I work shifts so regular feedings don't happen for my fish, just whenever I'm at home.

And before you tell me to read the instructions, there are none. Just a crappy little 4-step guide on the back of the packaging which doesn't explain ANYTHING about its manner of function.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

sry to say but thats just a cheap little automatic feeder it feeds twice a day for 4 weeks and theres no settings u should take it back and get

But does that feeding really need to be so regular? I have read that fish are opportunists and will feed whenever they are fed... When we go on holiday we use automatic feeders Serafeed. It works well, but once I noticed that it was feeding my fish ... at night in my absence. The fish were all fine.
