Hi,

wanting to get back into Freshwater fish again after TOO many years away. looking at a 90 Gal acylic. Looking for opinions regarding a 90 Gal "CLEAR FOR LIFE" (around $550.00) tank, and a "TSUNAMI" (around $1000.00) tank. Almost double the price for the TSUNAMI tank vs the CLEAR FOR LIFE. The ONLY difference I can see is the TSUNAMI uses 1/2" acrylic and the CLEAR FOR LIFE uses 3/8" acrylic. Is the extra thickness worth the extra money? CLEAR FOR LIFE has a "LIFETIME" warranty ( Never wanting to use that).

Any advise, opinions, other quality manufactures, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

I would think that the thicker acrylic better ensures against possible bowing down the line. I'm remembering the tunnels at sea world that were 6" thick! (Nothing like a great white or hammerhead shark overhead giving you the evil eye!).

However, at half the price and a lifetime warranty, unless you have money to burn, the choice seems clear.
