I'm in the process of setting up a 75 gallon freshwater tank. Will a Eheim Professional II 2028 be sufficient filtration for a tank that won't have a super heavy fish load or should I add additional filtration? I'm beginning to question myself whether it will be enough. If more makes sense, any recommendations for the additional filtration: another canister, HOB? I appreciate your advice and I know the fish will.
That filter should work fine with a 75 gal tank under a normal fish load. I've heard the filer should turn the tank water over 3-5 times per hour per gallon. This filter would turn the water over about 3.7 times per hour.
