R.I.P. Masta Betta

Over the weekend I lost one of my most interesting fish, Masta Betta. His name may have been a joke, but he was no joke to me. I had Masta for about a year. He loved his betta pellets, brine shrimp, blood worms and especially black worms, but he loved glaring at me whenever I took a minute to look at his tank even more. I thought I had provided him with all he could want, with perfect water parameters, regular water changes, tons of lush greenery and ample hiding spots with two squares a day. I guess some fish, just like many a great adventurer among us two-legged folk, have that itch to explore beyond their small world and to the great beyond. Masta had this itch and took it upon himself to explore areas of my desktop not wet enough to suit his fishy needs and when I wasn't home to save him.

He was a great fish, and he will be dearly missed.

its okay, he seemed to have the perfect life. At least you gave him a perfect life before he went to fishy heaven. also like I have said before they have unlimited gallons up there and mates to meet.

Changing my 30gallon freshwater tropical. Into a aggressive fish tank.
