Drekko, the Dragon Wrasse

We bought a dragon wrasse a few weeks ago who I thought was large enough to be immune from the threat of our Stars and Stripes puffer. Wrong.

I loved how this fish buried itself in the sand where it remained for most of the day and then emerged from the "depths", looking awesome.

So long, Drekko.

Thanks, guys. That pic wasn't him, by the way, but he looked just like that and I didn't have one.

aww that's sad, sorry to read about that. :(

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Thanks. The LFS had said it should work out because of their relative sizes, and for a few weeks it looked like things were going to. At the end of the day, though, I suppose my hungry puffer fish is a hungry puffer fish.
