Dizzy

He used to circle to and fro, now it's to the bowl we go My 6 line jumped the coupe after 2 years of entertaining us. I'm getting another one but I doubt that it will be as comical as this one. He really was a great fish and we miss his dearly.

Ain't like going down to the pond, cetching bluegills and tommy cats!

He was gorgeous. Sorry to hear that you lost him.

RIP Dizzy.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

aww that's sad. :(

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

I'm sorry to hear you lost Dizzy, he was a very nice looking fish! This picture makes me realize I've never gotten details on your tank or seen a FTS. It looks to be like a very nice tank. More pics for us??

Thanks guys. He jumped out about 2 weeks ago. He didn't leave a note or anything, he just jumped!!!I do joke about it but I'm bummed out about it. I called the 3 local fish stores and they are trying to get one for me. The trouble is that because of my yellow tail damsel,"Midnight" I have to get one at least 2 inches or he'll kill it. I know a lot of people don't like damsels because they are mean but every fish I have all get along beautifully and Midnight is 5 years old and is my very 1st fish. I hate to say it but I cycled the tank with him. "I didn't know any better" but I think that he can live in gasoline. So, if I get a 2 inch 6 line, I know he'll be fine. Right now, all they have are 1 inch 6 lines. I have hopes of finding one soon. Now I know some of you might think this is morbid but years ago I learned taxidermy. Now I've got to tell you that I really didn't flush Dizzy, I didn't have the heart to do it. He was totally dried out and in perfect shape. I can here your gasps now lol. I was at the mall and saw this 7 inch wood carving of a cat in a sitting position that sits on the edge of any shelf with a fishing pole and a wood carved fish on his line. Yep, I have to do it, you can't talk me out of it no matter how hard you try Lol. I'm going to take the wood carved fish off of the fishing pole and put Dizzy. Aw come on, it'll be funny!! and I'll always remember him. The only trouble is the paints, if I were to try to paint it properly would cost a fortune so I'm going to paint it with my sons water colors. Grown if you will now but I bet I'll make you laugh when it's done. Long live Dizzy!!

You will have to post a picture of Dizzy, when you get him all fixed up. Hope you don't have any cats in the house that might see him as a treat!

Brain, you are a RIOT! I have that same little wooden cat figurine w/ the fishing pole in hand. My mom bought it for me at Pier One Imports. She figures I like fish and I like cats so she thought I should have it. Yours is going to be so much better than mine. Post pics when you are done painting!! LOL. This is gonna be good....

PS. Looking forward to some new tank shots, especially of your basketball sized RBTA!
