they do that. GBR are not as easy to care for as other dwarf cichlids

everybody said they were picky but he was very hardy

ive tried GBR couple times with no success. but when i had kribensis, apistos, and bolivians, they all did just fine

This is a tough one, some people say if they have some wild blood, then they live longer, maybe that is the case, I had some loses out of nowhere myself, you just have to keep going, fun fish to keep.
There are some guys on aquabid, that are breeders that mix wild and farm, you should talk to them.
