Zebra Danios

Okay i had some babies hatch last monday-tuesday, and their already at the top of the tank eating the food im giving them, and i finally just bought and added a filter to their tank today.
So my question is
How long until i can put them in my actual tank? like how long until their not snack size for other fish?
They would be going into my 29 gallon tank until i can get a stand for my 55, then all of my freshwater fish will be put in that tank

Growth rate depends on food intake, the species, and to some extent water conditions. Basically, I just wait until mine look too large to fit into the other fish's mouths. Then, I transfer one of the fry into the community tank. IF no one chases him/her around hungrily, I figure they don't view the fry as snack-sized, and I then transfer the others!

For livebearers (guppies) it takes about a 4-6 weeks or so, depending on what fish other you have in your tank(s). Egg-layers, I assume would take longer since they start out smaller!

Get rid of your tiger barbs from your 29 gal. tank and you could have them in there in about4-5 weeks if properly fed.
They will be nothing but food for the tiger barbs until they are3months old.

Tiger barbs are not a friendly community fish so whom ever told you different should have to read a book on fish facts. They can potentially harm every other fish in that tank!

I know their not friendly, but i wanted them anyway, but the albino died the other night, and the other one doesnt try to nip any fins anymore, so im not concerned about them hurting my other fish

So you tiger barb does not nip fins anymore??????
I still say your "poor"fish are still living in fear of that one overly aggressive
tiger barb.
Most hobbiests try to keep a happy community tank and know what is good in the tank.
You should find a book on fish keeping and find out which fish are compatible.

correct it doesnt, and the other fish arent running away from it or anything, its fine. i dont need to pick up a book, i have a chart already of all the fish that can go with each other, i choose my fish for reasons, if you dont want it in your tank with your fish then thats your tank, but i DO want it with my fish. and this topic wasnt about this one and only fish, it was a general about adding the babies to the tank. wanting to know about how long it takes to see when they wont be snack size period
