Actually, Gouramis have a limited market because at most, your buyers can only put 2-3 in a single tank.

I'd go with some species of tetra or rasbora... Something moderately rare, but easy to breed.

How about Celestial pearl danios? Or Harlequin Rasbora?
Microrasbora erythromicron? Microrasbora Kubotai? Microrasbora rubescens? Poecilocharax weitzmani?

There's always angelfish and discus too.

If you can't pronounce it, it's easier to sell. :P

I would deter from discus IMO because they are very expensive and on other forums (discus specific) require like 4 WC every week. Angel fish are good and easy to breed, very easy to read although they will eat there eggs most of the time

38 gallon :
Pelvicachromis Taeniatus Nigerian Red not yet breeding pair
4 Pangio Kuhli
12 Hemmigrammus Bleheri
2 Botia Lohachata
1 Botia Straita
1 Ancistrus Sp.
6 Poecilia Reticulata

The Wet Spot Portland Oregon!!!!!!

ADA: Do!aqua Iwagumi 10 gallon size!
7 Clown Killies
7 Ghost shrimp
