Unknown Fry

I looked into my breeder net tonight and found a tiny TINY little fish... i know i have 6 Molly fry in there and i was checking on them and saw this tiny little fish swimming around in it so small i needed a magnifying glass to see it was a fish. it is about the size of my 4 day old molly fry's feces but it swims.

I have 2 danios and a silver tip tetra in there but i thought they wouldn't spawn in a community tank other than that i have swordtails and mollies but i am sure their fry are the same size.

any idea what this little guy could be? mainly i am worried could it be a parasite of some form? or did my danios have babies?

Did you figure out the genders of your danios? They usually spawn in groups and the eggs drop to the bottom. They hatch after 2-4 days depending on the temperature but the resulting fry won't be able to swim for another few days until they use up their yolk sac. If the tank is heavily planted, it's quite possible for the fry to survive.

Swordtail fry are smaller than molly fry. Do you have female swordtails in there?

Yes, male and female tuxedo swordtails, are they that small though? i would have thought they were close to the same size at least, This thing is TINY. The danios i have no idea what sex they are or how i would tell.

Ok i have been reading around. My Danios are male and female. I only have the 2 but i am sure what i saw was Danio fry. i have seen more and they were sticking to the glass, and the odd time i have seen tiny little swimmers go across the tank since.

They will likely not make it to adulthood as it is not heavily planted and i just got ghost shrimp and they will likely eat them.
