What kind of "mosquito fish" do you have? If they are Gambusia affinis, the fry need to be kept separate from the parents until they get to almost half the size of the adults. If they are Heterandria formosa, they can go in with the adult fish fairly soon after they are born as long as there is some places in the tank for them to hide. What you do with either kind of fry is feed them very small meals several times a day and do lots of water changes on the tank to help them not get a build up of poisons in the water. Fry growth is rgeatly enhanced by lots of nice clean water.
