Just got 3 more female guppies. I have pictures on the my aquarium thing. Oh and one of my guppies seems like shes gotten huge. I don't want to save all the fry, but maybe one or two. Did you just let them have the fry in the 10 gallon or in a breeding net in the tankor something?

Yeah now she looks like she is going to pop any second. She hangs out by the heater when its on which i heard was a sign that its getting closer. I just hope i get to see it. Oh and today one of my new guppies has inflamed gills and her mouth is open all the time. Heard aquarium salt can help i have no idea what it is. Any suggestions?

One of my females dropped tonight! I put 5 in a breeder net so they wont get eaten but left the rest to fend for themselves. I didn't get to see it happen though. I'll give some away if I have to. Now I can't go to bed I just want to watch them! Oh and should I just feed them crushed flakes?

Congratulations on your new fry. As soon as I get babies I raise them in separate tanks for a couple months and then when they are big enough I put them back in the main tank. Another food for guppy fry that I am starting to like are mosquito larva. If you just put a bucket in your backyard, fill it with water, place old leaves, weeds, and a couple grass clippings in there, the mosquitoes will lay eggs. As soon as the eggs hatch you will begin to see a lot of little larva swimming around. They get bigger within a couple of days so take them out of the bucket depending on the size of the fry. Not to mention adult fish eat them up too. Or you could just feed them crushed up flake food, which is what I have been doing until I heard of mosquito larva!
