As promised, a video update on my nursery tank, also got a little footage of my 55 gallon, it is looking AWESOME again, still need a few more plants on one side though. lol But it's cleared up nicely and everyone looks happy and healthy...aside from my Hi-Fin, she's still not doing the best and is thin and has yet to be unclenchy in several weeks(Still no idea on the cause, she got that way the day after I brought her home, she was fine when I got her though, or so it seemed...), you can see her up top by the heater in the back, the little red and yellow girl. She's still kicking, and she's actually a bit more active than she used to be, so I am hopeful the worst is passed and she will start gaining weight soon. I released her from the net, she was in the QT tank for a couple weeks before issues happened with other fish in there, and then in that net for about two weeks, and it's just cruel to keep her there that long, let alone longer. =( Well, wish her luck, she really does need it. But she seems to be a tough little fish!
Anywho, yes, video! Sorry, I used a different camera for it so it's short and sweet...and also very pixely which I hate. x.x; Enjoy! Them babies are getting big...oh yes, the nets in the main tank, the plastic one has my mystery snail babies and eggs in it, which most have hatched already...can't see them very well though and I think most escaped...said eggs are on top of it and out of the water. lol One is almost gone, most hatched...the other nest seems to have had no change, it may be newer and not ready...or possibly I killed it when I knocked it down not knowing what they were. >< The mesh net is in there incase I have random mothers giving birth that I catch in time, otherwise I get one or none of the babies. lol The nursery, as you can see, is full so mom can't go in, the other tank has frogs and a male betta, that'd be a disaster as frogs are better hunters than most think when it comes to live prey, as are betta, and Jack the orange betta gets along with -nobody- fish-wise. Frogs he's fine with. =)

Well, after a big clean up, which I'll get to, I just noticed my hi-fin finally gave up the fight. I thought she was doing better, but that's how it goes sometimes. They look better one day, next day they're gone. =( That sucks.
What really sucked...almost tempted to say sucked more, was waking up to loud water sounds at five am. Turns out Alanna jumped on the filter and knocked the pump loose...which caused about twenty gallons of water to be on my floor when I got up. Lovely. Many of my favorite books and anime cases have been thoroughly ruined.
Still cleaning that up. It's wet ten feet around the tank...it was equivalent to a weekly change worth of water, which is 25-30%, so...yeah, I'd say it was about ten-fifteen gallons of water on the floor, give or take a few. My fish are completely unbothered by it all. LOL Well, tomorrow WAS cleaning day, but I'll have to just get a small amount with the vacuum, or just leave it as is, it's not bad...but I'd rather be safe over sorry, maybe do a little five gallon sweep of part of the tank.
Well, everyone but ME is happy, but at least it was just water on the floor and not a whole tank of dead fish, cat woulda followed. >_>; Nothing like stepping out of your nice warm bed in the morning, it's ten degrees and snowing...to land in a cold puddle in your fuzzy socks. e.e;
*EDIT* Yeah, I probably should explain the HOW she did this...well the water pressure tube is in the top part of the filter, when she landed her fat, not really, ten pound butt on it from three feet high, it slammed the pipe down that controls the water pressure and blocked it, causing it to spew the excess water out the back and sides. c.c Grr.

Well, I have some baby fish photos. lol I also have video, but that will have to wait until later as I haven't uploaded it yet.
Anywho, you can see many of my little buddies. I like the one with the snail and one swordtail and one calico platy, the calico platy is giving attitude because the swordtail was eating something...nibbling on the snail more like, they do that a lot. The snails don't seem to mind though, but it worries me that the bigger ones may cause damage, even light damage. x.x
I also have one of a very tiny baby, which happens to belong to my Red Neon Swordtail, Chelsea. It's so tiny and cute! Unfortunately you can barely see it. ^^; I tried to crop it, but it smeared when I did that, so I have the original. Oh yes, speaking of Chelsea, she's still not herself, but she's eating normal. She just seems to want to be alone and hangs out by herself where she can. =(
Here's the photos. :3
Tiny baby first:
Some of each in this photo I think, it's hard to get clear photos of a group of wigglers. x.x
And here's little miss/mister attitude yelling at one of my painted swordtails, you can see he's submitting(clenching up and leaning to the side to show he wants no trouble, my adults do this on occasion if another fish has been nippy with them) and doesn't want trouble...she wont give it, she just wants his food! lol
Ah, my painted swordtails mobbing my snail, again. lol They have some lovely markings, eh? One of them has stripes from mid body down, all from back to belly, sorta sideways ones. I may keep that one, it's gorgeous. He's not in the photos though. But one that is half red and half black is somewhere.
And part two of my swordtails mobbing the snail, a calico platy has joined in. lol Unfortunately because she swam in, a good photo got out of focus. =p

So I have a male guppy that's been mating with my gold dust molly...what do you think THOSE will look like? lol Blue gold muppies. ;D The two male guppies I have are actually fairly nice as far as guppies go. If nothing else, lovely colors. lol
He's been breeding with this one, you know her well, she's the mother of my second generation mother...who I think had her brood without my knowledge but I dunno! Also, you can see Chelsea in the background by the heater, she doesn't leave to go hang out anymore, and that's extremely unusual since she's one of my most active and greedy fish:
And this is my male, bad photo, he's full of energy so I had to take a video shot. Didn't work out much better than a photo. LOL I have another male that looks just like him in shape, but he's a lemon yellow and cream color. They really are rather attractive for guppies. lol I've fallen in love with these three(including the lemon yellow and cream colored female, they have nice personalities and don't act brainless like some guppies tend to). I wish I could get better shots! So see? Chesh can't complain about her shots anymore, they are FAR better than most of the ones I manage. lol If we can get out of the driveway today, I'm gonna see about a couple more nice looking guppies, they're hard to come by. But if you watch, you do sometimes find a few with personality. I have two males and one female, that's not gonna cut it since both boys like her. >>; So I have to get a couple more girls.
Yess, I've fallen in love with these guppies, they have personality, really they do. I hope I get lucky with some nice girls, I'll watch them at the shop like I did with these. They're very active and come to the glass to watch me and fan out and swim around pretty. lol Uhoh, guppies have taken my heart. xD
