Smile surprise Cory Fry...what now?

I've had my Cats for about a year and they have been very affectionate from the very beginning. They have spawned 5 times but the eggs always end up being eaten by my cats or they literally rot...the eggs get "furry" within about 4 days of being laid and my tank gets polluted.

So about 4 - 6 weeks ago, they spawned again and when the eggs became furry, I removed the eggs from the tank and cleaned the water.

This morning I got a big surprise when I noticed a tiny cory cat, then another, and yet another. So I guess some of the eggs were fertilized and thankfully I missed them. But since I didn't think any were going to hatch, I didn't separate them or make a note of when they hatched. I also didn't feed them any special fry food. It's probably amazing that they survived.

They are about 1/2 inch long (one is a little smaller).
They are very active and stay out in the open.

Any idea about how old they might be?

Should I be doing anything “special” for them?

Tank Info:

20 gallon planted tank
gravel substrate

6 neon tetra
1 snail (huge)
2 Bronze Cory Cats (1 male & 1 female)
3 Bronze Cory Cat fry (at last count!!)

flake food and blood worms for tetra
algae discs and blood worms for cats
4 gal water change every other day

Once they hit a half inch, they should be fine. I imagine you had a lot of infusoria in your tank that they used as a first food.

I'd make sure they get fed as often as possible to ensure good growth, but other than that... congratulations. :)

Oh, and live food would be a bonus of course- just can't think of any good ones without starting a culture...
