Sterbai cory eggs

I'm currently in the process of setting up a breeding tank for my corys, which spawn fairly regularly in the community tank. I'm interested to hear from anyone who's had success at breeding these little fellas. I've been reading a lot of conflicting information on whether to add anti fungal treatment like meth blue aftter the eggs have been laid.

Some say this is necessary to prevent fungus, where others think it can lead to deformity of the fry.

Opinions anyone?

Hmm, I've always heard the meth blue thing too, but obviously fish breed in the wild, so I think it's worth a try. I'm definitely pro not using chemicals when possible. Perhaps just test it out with one clutch and put an airstone right underneath so there's plenty of circulation.

Don't put the airstone below the eggs, place it above. You are trying to increase water flow. The rising bubbles will create the current needed to oxygenate the eggs. Place it far enough above as not to cause movement of the eggs.

Thanks folks, meth blue striked from the list and airstone added :)

I don't like adding chemicals either and that's why I was reluctant to go down the meth blue route.
