So, betta breeding advice?

Okay, so I've been researching betta spawning for a WHILE and I plan to spawn bettas (of which I do not yet own). Yes, the jars will be ready as well as the tanks and stuff. I'm just wondering if anyone can provide serious advice that will help me? I don't need to know about water conditioners, pet store stuff, and that stuff.

That's the best advice I can give. The guy seems to know his stuff so it might help with anything you haven't already researched.

Well, some of the things I would want to have for the next time I breed bettas that I think I should have had when I bred them the first time would be:

-Microworm or vinagar eel culture; these are usually better than baby brine shrimp as I have heard from fellow betta breeders. I used infusoria and baby brine shrimp and whatever little rotifers the little things could catch.
-Java Moss; it usually carries tons of rotifers, so that is a good addition to the breeding tank.
-Floating live plant; I had a water lettuce plant and a half of a styrofoam cup and my male betta chose the water lettuce over the cup.
-Snails; yes, these pesky little buggers. My baby bettas (around 5 weeks old) were eating all the snail eggs in the tank, and the ramshorns helped keep the diatom algae down, which was horribly overrunning the tank.

I think that is all I can remember, I'll let you know if I remember any more!

What I mainly want to know, is at what age (weeks) can I start feeding babies adult food? (Flakes, etc.)

Well, I was weaning my fry onto powdered flake food at 8 weeks old and they were taking pretty well to it, but unfortunately they seemed to enjoy huntin down my red cherry shrimp fry more and chowing down on those.

If you could get the ramshorns at the LFS, it should do, I had pond snails in there too and those eggs were eaten as well but they aren't as cool looking IMO as ramshorns.

I had Java Moss and Pelia in with my fry, I got the Java Moss from my LFS for 3.99 for a golfball size bunch and I got the pelia when I ordered my RCS from Karl Kwong, it came in the bag with them. I currently have a ton of Java Moss, I have a friend that sent me a bunch to get my asian tank set up and it grows pretty fast. You should be able to find it on Aquabid or Ebay.
