i counted 12 with two that were there before now gone so 14
and i counted 5 in my 1gal tank

awesome ;D

my 5 gal tank has 12 egg clusters
that little 1gal tank now has 14 >.<
the 1 gal tank only has ONE snail in it two

the five gal has 3

I have heard that clown loaches are great for keeping snails and snail eggs at bay

yeah so are dojo loaches apparently. i havent seen any new ones in my tank with the loaches in it so i guess they're doing their job. the tank with my fry, however, have like 15 egg clusters. non have hatched yet though.

i think a snail from my first batch of snails survived
my other snails dont seem to be growing fast and i found a new small snail in my tank
its smaller than a dime
its shell is like greenush brown and a little seethrough and i think because its young the snail is sorta pale but my others are dark

not technically true, hermaphrodites have the ability to wield both reproductive organs.

2 are still needed for fill fertilization to take place.

i dont think thats true unless this snail i had had a bunch of fertile eggs inside it
i had one snail in a tank and it laid 14 clusters and they all hatched

there will have been another snail in the tank for it to happen or it will have had pre fertilised eggs.
