Shrimp baby? With only one shrimp?!?

Hey everyone! I have one Japanese Amano Shrimp.
Thats right. One.
And i have had it for months since maybe December when i first came back to the hobby.

As i was cleaning out my Guppy tank where the Japanese Amano Shrimp resides, it scurried past me.
I was taken aback and I look and looked again. And there it is. A tiny little look alike.

Anyone have any idea what may have happened?

Maybe it molded or it was a reflection.

Try having a pair it will surely breed but I think red cherry is easier to breed.

I LOVE MY WEIRD!

Considering the eggs only hatch in brackish water I doubt that's what happened.

xD i know, im just weirded out i guess. I still have no idea what it was. It moved on its own accord, not with the flow of the water and even ran from fish!

Had you bought any new plants over the last month or so? I don't know if those lay eggs or have live young, but I've had critter eggs hitch rides in on plants before. =) I ended up over-run with snails that way, and a few cories...which got eated before I could get them in a net. v.v;

Actually that tank was set up for a few months with no new additions.
