well the topic pretty much states it all. I have a male swordtail that is red and a female that is black. What do i expect the babies to be? should i expect some of each or multicolored? Do you think that if they do end up multicolored, people will embrace them and welcome them into new homes or shun them as freaks?
You could wind up with any number of colors depending on the genetics of the fish. I have bred sunsets with sunsets and got mickey mouse colors. Expect anything and if you do actually get a cross of the two there is always those that are looking for new colors and that special combination.
I'm pretty sure she isnt sexually mature yet so I can almost say for certain the babies will be hybrids! I can't wait to see!
