Thanks,The female was at the other end of the log gathering up some of the fry that wounder off. She actually stays right in the middle of the school while the Male usually hovers over them protecting them from predators. The last batch they had was in my 80 gallon Oscar tank. With my two 10" Oscars He did an excellent job of protecting them. If they got too close, BAM! The Male would zip up and bite the Oscars and be back in the log before the Oscar could turn around. This time they have their own tank in my living room which is nice, cause I can always have an eye on the fry incase the Male should start to eat them.

well, papa started snacking on his fry, so he is already back in his own tank.It hasn't even been 1 week and he is eating them.I wouldn't breed him with his disposition if he didn't make such neat looking fish.

very! But I have always hand picked the ones with the best attributes. As well as breeding different strains of color and stripe patterns to create my own strain of convict which you can see, these parents were picked for albinos, and looks like I got a hole clutch of nuthin but albinos. (i hope)
