Platy had her babies!

I had moved her to my 5 gal tank 2wks ago. This tank was already cycled and has breeding grass and plants in it, so the fry could hide.

I was gone for a few hrs last night, so when i checked on her she was a whole lot smaller, so i knew she delivered. I moved some of the breeding grass and saw something teeny tiny move. Wala....babies!! No idea how many she had, gotta wait until they get a bit bigger.

My new grandson........Jordan Alexander

Congrats. on your new little fishy friends :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Yay for babies!! Keep us posted. It is fascinating to sit and watch when they are this small. It doesn't take long for them to realize you mean food. Enjoy!!
