My female was pregnant and I wasn't expecting her for about a week and I got up in the morning and there were fry in my tank! In the End I recovered 7 of them. I just moved them into a little tank so they won't be eaten and I bought some food called "First Bites" for fry obviously, (Powder Food) and they wont eat it?!
Does it float? Sink? When I first had fry, I used that liquid fry food, but I found it mucked up my water to much. So I just fed them the same thing I fed the adults only finely crushed. They may be to shy to accept food off the top, if the powder does in fact float. So maybe try the liquid drops until they are a bit bigger?
I through some low protein, high veg turtle pellets, blood worms, and flake food, into my little "magic bullet" blender thing and make a fine dust out of it. my guppy fry love it and have been big and healthy. i like to think it's a good combo.
