PLATY FRY (NEED HELP)

I just had my platy give birth I have 15 new fry. What Do I Feed Them???

you can feed them finely crushed flakes that you would feed your adults. also you can get flakes from your lfs specially made for fry, or you can feed them baby brine shrimp. sorry i dont know much about feeding fry, mine always got flakes for fry which i bought for them. good luck :D

I would agree! Flake is the best for your situation. Breeders feed baby mostly brine shrimp but for such a small drop, Flake is the may to go.

Put a couple of pinches of flake in a small plastic bag. Shake all the flake to a corner and start mashing untill the flake looks like a powder without any large flake. As they get bigger you will have to mash less and less untill you sell/trade or untill they are big enough to accept normal flake sizes!

Platy fry look funny dont they! lol. Ive got some mickey mouse drops growing out right now.

ive just put my 2 mickey mouse girls and male swordtail into my 29 gallon i love watching fry grow. :D good luck :D
