First off, some background: I am a fish moron. I have a 10 gallon freshwater aquarium. About a year ago, I bought two panda corys. A few weeks went by and I noticed a couple baby pandas swimming around. Awesome, I thought, they are such nice fish, I'm glad to have some more. However, they kept breeding and are now up to about 13 or 14!
Does anyone know how to make them stop breeding? I'm really getting worried that this is way too many fish for a tank this size (I also don't want to get another tank). Is there some chemical I can use to suppress their hormones or something? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated since I know so little about this topic.
If it matters, besides the pandas, the only other fish in the tank is one lonely tetra (his friends died off over the years) and a bunch of small snails.
