i cant see her body shape to well in those pics (maybe another member can) but her gravid spot (black dot behind her belly) is quite dark, so she might drop in a week or sooner, not sure though. good luck :D

As stated, her gravid spot does look quite dark, belly does not look too big at current, but as stated previous, it is difficult to see in the pics. Keep an eye on her in the breeder box, she should be fine in there. Remove her as soon as she has finished dropping her fry, otherwise, she will likely eat them.

Take pride in what you do, for it is a reflection of who you are.

Your guppy!

I have had times where some of my females look like they should drop any second but actually taking longer, about a week. I would keep the female in the breeder box to avoid irritating her. There is no way to put your finger an a specific date but I would say within a week.

You should also concider the space you have. Guppies can have more than 30 fry and they all need space and food ( newly hatched baby brine shrimp is the best). If you got the guppies from a lfs you may only find you have a max of 15 babies but you have to care for them for 6 MONTHS or more before you can get rid of them. Your local fish store might not even give you money for your fish. I would suggest investing in some nice breeding stock ( about $50) and 5 or more 10 gals with box filters and small heaters ($100). Guppy breeding is an exciting hobby and I would love to help you out and answer questions if you have them. Good luck![/i]

Another thing! In your pic your female looks like a half black white or half black pastel or something and in your background you've got a red delta or full red? Are you planing on breeding the two, Or is that just an other guppy? You might now this but you should to find and breed pairs of the same strain. I get away with it because most of my females are a grayish color all the fry resemble what ever the male was not any traits of the female.
