my black skirt tetras have been getting pregnant like crazy lately. It all started when I raised my water temperature to 79 degrees. They were always pregnant, then they'd suddenly be skinny and the eggs would be gone (eaten by the adults). I lowered my temp back to 77' and no one got pregnant for a while. Suddenly today FOUR of my six are pregnant! Even ones that I thought were female!

So you're not alone.

Pretty fish, from what I can see in the photo.

Well she was pregnant because shes been slimming down. I missed it so im going to assume none of them will survive. I hope she does though with the tank problems im now having. I also keep my tank at about 78-79

A zebra danio does not have fry. They are egg layers that scatter their eggs on the tank bottom.
