Is my Swordtail Pregnant?!

I think my Swordtail may be pregnant, i brought it last week and it has gotten bigger in the stomach and the dark spot near its anal fin has become bigger/darker. my dad says that she isnt and its poo but im still curious. If someone could please shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated. Its my first time having Swordtails .
Sry if the pics arent good quality . If she is pregnant what would be the best thing to do? not sure to get a breeder box or not.

I would not disturb the fish. I would provide numerous places for young fish to hide when they finally come. These places should be in the form of bushy or leafy type plants either real,,or artificial. Many livebearers wiil abort pregnancy and deliver babies too early for them to survive if stressed ,or chased with net in attempt to move them. Best to leave them be. Babies will use the places you provide until they are large enough to venture out without fear of being eaten.these fish have been producing young for centuries if not longer without any help from us.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.

Went out today and bought myself some Milfoil and Ambulia plants. I was hoping to get my hands on Java Moss / Fern but none of the stores near me dont have any at the moment. My tank also has a variety of other plants and some rocks. Hope thats enough cover for the fry =) thx for the reply.

I would let it give birth in the tank. Then, catch the fry and put them in a breeding trap.

Everything happens for a reason, but the reason isn't always good.
