My Pearl Gouramis are trying to have babies

My Pearl Gouramis are in their mating season and the male has the deep orange color going from his mouth all the way down to his tail. The male has already made a bubble nest with some plants I have in the tank and he is constantly blowing more bubbles to the nest and trying to wow the female and biting her sometimes.

Does anyone know how long they stay in this mode? I'm just curious on how many days the male takes to make the bubble nest and how does the female look when she is ready to lay the eggs.
